What a strange coincidence. Looking through their third quarterly reports, Apple stated that they have sold 5.2 million iPhones, which is, ironically, the same number of people who have died in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It's chilling and if you think about it, it's like every iPhone people buy, one person in the Congo dies. The war on "Conflict Minerals", the same minerals (tin, tantalum, and tungsten) that make up the iPhones themselves, results in the violence and the deaths of the Congolese citizens.
