Twilight Star Peter Facinelli gathered a large crowd of teens and parents alike at the Charleston Town Center in West Virginia to promote reading amongst the youth. He also took some time out of his meet and greet to speak about the City of Joy, a healing center and safe community for survivors of violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He held an autograph and photo session for those who attended. A portion of the proceeds from the autographs and photos with Peter Facinelli went to OmniPeace, whose Stamp Out Violence Against Women and Girls of the Congo campaign benefits the City of Joy Healing Center.
